Kenya Youth Intercounty Sports Association — 11th Edition
The Kenya Youth Intercounty Sports Association (KYISA) organises annual intercounty youth sporting competitions across all 47 counties of Kenya. The KYISA Games are designed to unearth and develop raw sporting talent among Kenyan youth who are out of school and have missed mainstream scouting opportunities.
Many talented young Kenyans aged 18 to 23 lack the platform to showcase their abilities — they are not in universities or colleges, have never played in any higher league, and have limited exposure to professional sports institutions. KYISA bridges this gap by providing a competitive, structured platform where these young athletes can be identified, nurtured, and linked to professional sporting clubs and other institutions.
The 11th Edition of the KYISA Games will be held from 10th – 20th April 2026 in Laikipia County, organised by the KYISA Executive Committee in collaboration with the Laikipia County Government.
KYISA is Kenya's premier annual intercounty sports championship, bringing together talented young athletes aged 18 to 23 from all 47 counties.
Every year, KYISA hosts a week-long multi-sport championship where counties field their best youth athletes to compete for glory.
Exclusively for young Kenyans aged 18 to 23 — identifying, developing, and celebrating the next generation of sporting talent.
Teams representing all 47 counties go head-to-head in football, basketball, volleyball, handball and more.
Real-time tracking of fixtures, results, standings, and player statistics across all competitions.
To identify, nurture, develop and promote sporting talents among the youth of Kenya; to promote peace and national cohesion among communities from different counties; and to link talented youth to professional sporting clubs and other institutions.
A Kenya where every young athlete, regardless of their county of origin, has the opportunity to showcase their raw sporting talent and be scouted into professional clubs — promoting peace, national cohesion, and youth empowerment through sport.
